Andersen’s customer is a global leader in dental materials. Known for its strong R&D heritage and client-centric philosophy, the company is both innovative and rapidly expanding. Its portfolio includes over 600 products sold in more than 100 countries worldwide.
Andersen was approached as a hub of excellence for SEO optimization and website redesign. Our mission was to envision a comprehensive restructuring plan. Specifically, we were tasked with translating the customer’s business needs for a consistent, SEO-friendly web presence into a detailed roadmap. The objective was to not only resolve issues with fragmented domains and multilingual content but also streamline navigation and enhance the overall UX across regions and languages.
Before approaching our company, the customer’s multilingual website was not yet fully aligned with challenging modern standards. It operated under multiple domain names and included numerous inconsistent language versions. As a result, the SEO structure was fragmented and difficult to manage. In a nutshell, the customer maintained over 3,600 web pages across three separate domains and nine language versions. Hence, they needed clear, actionable guidance on how to redesign their complex multiregional website to improve both its structure and search visibility.
Design:
Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe After Effects;
SEO & Analytics:
Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, Ahrefs.
Others:
Confluence, Jira.
Andersen developed a comprehensive blueprint for redesigning the customer’s multilingual and multiregional website, including cost and timeline estimates. We assessed key search queries and competitors to create a detailed guide aimed at preventing overlaps and conflicts across domains and language versions.
The guide recommended removing redundant pages, setting up redirects to relevant pages and domains, establishing a consistent URL structure, adding semantic tags and metadata, and optimizing filters for course pages.
By following this SEO optimization and redesign roadmap, the customer will manage to significantly improve their SEO and streamline the user experience.
As a result of the project, the customer is now equipped with a clear and scalable blueprint for improving user engagement, reducing drop-off, and supporting long-term digital growth across regions. The roadmap addressed key structural challenges, such as fragmented domains, inconsistent multilingual content, and disjointed SEO optimization efforts. A unified, search-optimized, redesigned web architecture is expected to help the customer increase organic traffic, improve content discoverability, and strengthen global brand consistency.
