The project focused on meeting the digital marketing needs of a manufacturing company. Specifically, we were tasked with delivering a product selection module. The software was intended for use by manufacturers, distributors, consultants, contractors, end-users, and dealers of ventilation fans. It also needed to integrate seamlessly with existing business processes and enhance operational efficiency.

About the project

The project was initiated to fix fragmented user journeys and inefficient digital marketing tools spread across two interconnected corporate websites. The legacy product-selection module slowed down searches, lacked UX consistency, and weakened both brands’ SEO performance.

To address these issues, Andersen delivered a web app for manufacturing-specific digital marketing needs that would provide a consistent UX, streamline product filtering, and give the rebuilt pages a solid SEO foundation. This centralized browser-based solution unified the client experience across both brands’ sites and significantly improved marketing performance and discoverability.

Built using modern web technologies, this web app for manufacturing ensures high performance, cross-device accessibility, and long-term scalability. It was designed to support marketing-driven product discovery, improve user engagement, and enable smooth client journeys. An overhauled UI empowers users to search, filter, compare, generate reports, and print product details quickly and intuitively.

The app features a marketing-optimized landing page, enhanced product-selection module, engineering calculators, category navigation, video slider, FAQ section, searchable and filterable product pages, detailed product sheets, report generation tools, product comparison capabilities, a “Where to Buy” page with Google Maps integration, and a robust CMS for managing content, specifications, locations, users, and global themes.

Post-MVP enhancements include advanced sorting by air volume values and Google Analytics integration, enabling continuous marketing performance optimization and data-driven decision-making.
