About the project
Andersen was approached by a Swiss customer to develop a FinTech tool for investment management and analysis. The project lasted 24 months. The platform was built by our team using Scala technology for the investment engine, Python algorithms for calculation, and Angular and Vue.js frameworks for user and administrator modules. The result of the project is an investment management tool with daily ROI calculations, compatibility with external systems, automated portfolio selection based on profitability and risk, a portfolio rule designer, and data export capabilities. The platform can handle over two billion calculations in two minutes and generate over 250,000 product documents daily with automatic reporting.

Solution
The platform is driven by a Scala-based investment engine. The calculation of the value of the VCI tools underlying the engine is enabled via Python algorithms. The user and administrator modules are implemented as a web app using Angular and Vue.js frameworks.
