Andersen was hired by a Tier 1 supplier for a British original equipment manufacturer working for the Automotive industry. We were chosen thanks to our extensive talent pool and domain-specific track record, encompassing self-driving features in particular and driving automation in general.

Any concept of autonomous driving features dictates increased attention to QA and tech validation. Andersen, owing to our familiarity with this domain, is the ideal choice to handle QA for Level 2 autonomous driving.
In this project, we focused on validating and ensuring the quality and correct implementation of a car sensor for Level 2 automated driving. A significant challenge lay in accurately capturing and interpreting the dynamic and nuanced acceleration patterns encountered in real-world autonomous driving scenarios. Andersen fully rose to this occasion when working with acceleration support, making sure that the car sensors could assist with both steering and acceleration.
Andersen collaborated with this customer by extending their team and adding our specific skill sets for Level 2 autonomous cars. In this capacity, we contributed to their QA activities by executing Unit Tests, Integration Tests, and Qualification Tests.
Andersen's team members also led the activities for defining and implementing test processes and ensuring compliance with ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) certification requirements.
