About the project
As the world goes into a Cloud, the customer has begun the process of adaptation to the changing needs of customers, providing them with storage and backup services. In order to make services simple and understandable for the clients, as well as to strengthen their leadership on the Norwegian market, the company decided to develop a system for reporting and administration. This responsible mission was entrusted to Andersen’s team.

The system includes 3 applications: Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Storage. Backup provides statistic data on the performance of copying and restoring data service on schedule. Disaster Recovery is the function of emergency recovery of the client’s infrastructure. Disaster Recovery makes it possible to see the current status of the servers and to learn about emergency situations. Storage is the space with high performance and redundancy for data storage.
The portal is equipped with detailed reports on traffic, financial expenses, tariffs, etc., which allows clients to analyze and plan their budgets. It is possible to generate reports, export them to various formats and send them on email according to schedule. Also, the portal has a flexible system for managing roles and levels of access for users
Finally, Andersen developed a system main functionality of which is statistic review and report generation.
On the customer’s request, all data is stored exclusively on the servers of Norway. Much time was devoted to research user experience and development of user-friendly interface, which later positively reflected in the customers’ opinion of high-level convenience of the interface. The development team paid much attention to data security, so the largest companies in Norway use Skyportal to process their data and would recommend it to other companies.
